Each month, we’re proud to highlight the incredible individuals who bring warmth, dedication, and excellence to the Greater Toronto Area’s hospitality community. This November, we’re celebrating two inspiring professionals whose passion for hospitality shines through in everything they do — Henry Domingo from the Hazelton Hotel Yorkville and Ravish Kumar from the Holiday Inn Express Downtown Toronto.
✨ Meet Henry Domingo – Houseperson, The Hazelton Hotel Yorkville

With 21 years in the hospitality industry, 18 of them at the Hazelton, Henry Domingo is a true pillar of excellence and professionalism. His deep knowledge of the property and his remarkable ability to remember repeat guests’ preferences ensure every stay feels seamless and personalized.
Henry consistently goes above and beyond for guests, whether it’s procuring personal items for families, carefully cleaning delicate garments, or even dismantling a bed to recover a guest’s lost chain. Every task is handled with calm, care, and unwavering professionalism. His attention to detail and quiet dignity leave lasting impressions on both guests and colleagues alike.
When being asked what he enjoys most about working in hospitality, Henry shared:
“Being able to grow as a person through the guests you meet and the work you do. You develop people skills through your interactions with guests and coworkers, learn to stay calm under pressure, and are always on your feet. It’s satisfying when you make guests happy and meet their expectations with your service. When you see them come back, it’s a rewarding and amazing feeling. The hospitality industry teaches you empathy, patience, and problem-solving.”
Keep up the great work, Henry!
Meet Ravish Kumar – Guest Services Representative, Holiday Inn Express Toronto Downtown

Ravish Kumar has been part of the hospitality industry since 2008, with the past 13 years dedicated to the Holiday Inn Express Toronto Downtown. Over the years, Ravish has built strong relationships with guests, creating moments that leave a lasting impression long after check-out.
One of his most meaningful experiences improved a repeat guest who stayed frequently while visiting her son who lived nearby. Through regular interactions, we came to know Ravish so well that she affectionally referred to him as her “second son in Toronto”, a testament to the genuine care and connection he brings to his role.
Ravish says one of the things he loves most about hospitality is its diversity: “From different cultures and languages to unique perspectives and thought processes, hospitality gives you the opportunity to learn from everyone you meet,” he shares. These daily interactions have given him a broader outlook on life and a deeper appreciation for people.
Outside of work, Ravish loves to travel, and his favourite destination is Riviera Maya, Mexico, where he enjoys the beautiful scenery and vibrant atmosphere.
Keep up the great work, Ravish!
