We are pleased to introduce our August Faces of Hospitality, featuring Norman Wallace and Jose Angeles.
💫 Meet Norman Wallace, GlenErin Inn
With more than 30 years in the hospitality industry, Norman Wallace has built a career centred on outstanding guest service and leadership. Since joining GlenErin Inn & Spa 14 years ago, he has become an integral part of the property, bringing valuable experience from several of the industry’s leading hotel brands before finding his “home away from home” at GlenErin.
As Guest Services Manager, Norman believes that first impressions make all the difference. His favourite part of working in hospitality is exceeding guests’ expectations and creating memorable experiences for everyone who visits the property. He takes great pride in leading a team that welcomes every guest with warmth, genuine smiles, and exceptional service.
When he’s not at the hotel, Norman enjoys travelling and counts the Cayman Islands as one of his favourite destinations. Looking ahead, exploring the continent of Africa remains at the top of his travel bucket list.
💫 Meet Jose Angeles, The Anndore House
For more than three decades, Jose Angeles has dedicated his career to hospitality, including an incredible 23 years at The Anndore House. As a Guest Service Agent, Jose has become a familiar and welcoming face at the front desk, known for his positive attitude, friendly smile, and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
What Jose enjoys most about hospitality is the opportunity to meet people from around the world and learn about different cultures. Whether welcoming first-time visitors or returning guests, he believes every interaction is a chance to make someone’s stay more memorable.
Jose’s favourite travel destinations are Bahrain and Dubai, where he enjoyed experiencing the culture and hospitality of the Middle East. One destination he hopes to visit in the future is Spain, where he looks forward to exploring its history, culture, and cuisine.
