💫 Meet Sofia Fuentes – Maintenance Worker, Residence Inn Toronto Mississauga Southwest

Sofia is a valued member of the team at the Residence Inn Toronto Mississauga Southwest, serving as a dedicated Maintenance Worker who consistently goes above and beyond in her role.

She demonstrates a high standard of professionalism in every guest interaction, representing the hotel with warmth, poise, and genuine care. Whether handling routine inquiries or unique guest requests, she approaches each situation with courtesy, attentiveness, and a calm confidence that reassures guests they are in capable hands. 💫 Meet Raquel Pangan – Front Office Supervisor, Hampton by Hilton Toronto Airport Corporate Centre

Raquel is a dedicated hospitality professional who has proudly spent 14 years growing her career at the Hampton by Hilton Toronto Airport Corporate Centre.

She began her journey in 2012 as a Room Attendant, where she developed a strong appreciation for attention to detail and the importance of creating welcoming spaces for guests. She later advanced to Housekeeping Supervisor, building her leadership skills and deepening her understanding of hotel operations. In 2019, Raquel transitioned to the Front Desk to expand her experience and connect more directly with guests, where she discovered her passion for guest interaction. In 2023, she was promoted to Front Office Supervisor, a role that reflects her leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence.

Raquel credits much of her growth to the support of her General Manager, Tarek Mahfouz, and her Hampton family, whose encouragement and belief in her potential have inspired her every step of the way. Working with Hilton has helped her grow both professionally and personally, while also setting a meaningful example for her children about the value of hard work, perseverance, and loving what you do.

What Raquel loves most about hospitality is the opportunity to make people feel at home. She finds joy in creating a “home away from home” for guests and building meaningful connections with people from all walks of life. For Raquel, hospitality is more than a career — it is truly her passion.
